NutritionObjectives
To train undergraduate students to apply and disseminate the knowledge of principles in human nutrition and dietetics in order to enhance the quality of life and well-being of all Rwandan people
To teach the students how to focus on disease prevention and community health promotion regarding nutrition.
To learn our students to be able to define the role of food and its components for optimum health for all Rwandans and to be able to practice nutritional diagnosis and recommend appropriate diet accordingly.
To instruct our students how to conduct action research, how to plan and how to evaluate nutrition programs at all levels.
For students not active in the health sector:
To introduce them to the various issues that are relevant to the public health field
To support them in maximizing their existing skills to the benefit of the health
care field
To enhance their knowledge and practical skills in order to strengthen their position in the public health job market
